Apps Project Checklist - Cloud
The Rapid Jumpstart Implementation Methodology is based on a couple of premises that all project members should keep in mind:
1. Use out of the box best practices - this means we are going to configure a base system, demo that system, and ask "What can't the user adopt" - then we build a fit gap document and use personalization to close the gaps.
2. Standard Functionality - this means that we are using the workflows as they come configured, out of the box reports, and the standard screens that come with Cloud.
3. Our tailoring of the environment is focused on adding flex fields to capture additional data, populating necessary lookups with customer-specific values, and uploading specific data to the system.
4. The project doesn't include custom report development - instead we provide a class in BI (2 days) and help the customer create some reports during these classes
5. Data extract and cleansing are the responsibility of the client - we provide the templates which can be found on Oracle Enterprise Repository
